Created by world-famous supermodel Tyra Banks, 'America's Next Top Model' chronicles the transformation of everyday young women into potentially fierce supermodels.
Cameras catch each moment as participants face off in challenges like mastering the runway, nailing photo shoots, perfecting publicity skills, and learning the business aspects of becoming a model. With mentoring by Tyra, art director Jay Manuel, and runway expert J. Alexander, and exposure to high-profile fashion industry gurus, the finalists compete in a highly accelerated modeling boot camp that could lead to supermodel fame. The winner will have the opportunity to be managed by Ford Models. She will also receive a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl, and will appear in Elle magazine.

The success of the reality show America's Next Top Model 2008 has sprouted more than twenty adaptations all over the world. With nearly the same show structure, format and substance, generally all Top Model shows bring forth a variety of attractive model wannabes and showcases their journey week by week as they hone their skills in preparation to become a Top Model. But until this day, as far as ratings are concerned, no progeny of Top Model can surpass or even compare to the original show established by Tyra Banks.
